God NO I'm such a prude.

My parents did wife swapping back in the 70's. Dad's now married to the woman and my mum lives alone.

A woman I worked with said in the 70s they used to throw the car keys in a pile and you would pick a set and go off with whoever the car keys were...[vomit emotion]

I would have to agree with everyone else, the thought of it makes me sick!

Each to their own I suppose. Actually, in this case, it is each to everyone.

Lol, I don't understand how someone can watch while some bitch has sex with their partner! The reason I asked was I saw this documentary a few weeks back and I thought 'hmm, wonder if any mumsnetters do that?!?!'

Apparently if you have pampas grass growing in your garden it signifies swingingdom (I probably read that on MN). I do not have pampas grass growing in my garden.

Swingerdom? Swinginess? Swingability?

I'm as bored as hunker.

Anyone ever seen the film 'Swingers'. It's great, btw, but it's about swing dancing.

am i the only one that has ! it was a club with an ex-bf. The idea excited me, but when we got there it didn't, I need to get to know someone to find them attractive and do anything . We went and had a sauna alone together and then went off and found somewhere quiet and private definitely no swinging for us. Thinking back it was quite funny. I'm not quite so wild now and it doesn't interest me at all.

I have !!!! .................. in my head that is !

... and, I bet I'm not the only MumsNetter who's at least wondered what it might be like ?? Mind you, when such - ahem - thoughts cross my mind, the party in question is populated, strangely enough, by the likes of Russell Crowe, Edge, Sean Bean, Gordon Ramsay, my old rather gorgeous vet - and other such fanciable men.

In reality though, I would be far too embarassed to reveal my body in all its "glory" to a load of strangers even if they were very broad minded. And of course, the emotional fallout from something like that can only be guessed at before the event - which personally, I think, is quite a risky strategy. I would be terribly worried that either one of us might form an emotional attachment to someone else & really do believe that your relationship can't be the same as it was before. What if one of you likes it more than the other and wants to do it again but the other person doesn't ?

Best kept as a fantasy IMO.
