Everything I have looked at on the internet is either too far away, fully booked or too expensive (ie: £160+ per night).

Looking for 2 nights (weekend) beginning of September, don't want to drive too far to get there.

Anyone know of any good websites for romantic getaways or classy boutique type hotels. (Babington House would be my ideal but it's £250 per night!!)

Thanks

Hello DHW will get my thinking cap on later and get back to you. I would love to get married at BH but the cost is OTT

bossykate Mon 25-Jul-05 17:07:53

what is your budget, dhw?

SoupDragon Mon 25-Jul-05 17:09:34

Where rae you and how far do you want to travel?

desperatehousewife Mon 25-Jul-05 17:09:44

To be honest, if I'm realising that to get anything close to what I want I'm going to have to pay Hotel Du Vin prices (£100-130 per night). but all the Hotel du Vins are fully booked !

Soupy I'm on South Coast, don't want to travel more than a couple of hours - not too far (and definately not london)

Haven't been there but have been to GRAND in EASTBOURNE for dinner and beauty days etc.

desperatehousewife Mon 25-Jul-05 17:20:41

French girl - looks really nice, but it's self catering and I don't want to have to lift a finger! Want a hotel.
