just wondered how you felt about women going out with/marrying younger men.
Do you think it can work?

To a younger man?

I know someone whose mother was 10 years older than her father, and then when they got divorced, found herself a lover who was about 12 years younger than herself (with whom she has been living/ married for 30 years now).

This person is now happily married with two DS's, to a man 10 years younger than her. Following in Mummy's footsteps.

my dh's best friend is married to a woman 12 years older than him (and he's immature for his age) yet they seem to be happy so i guess its the people rather than the age

I am sure it will be great for years to come!
He is 11 years younger well 11 and a half actually!!! the only time i think about the age gap is when we talk about tv programmes from the past!!!!!! He was at school whilst I was married first time!!!!

erm - yes I was too! when DW was married first I mean!

had a conversation like tha the other day about Saturday morning TV, but itwa sthe other way round! I remembered Champion the Wonder Horse (repeats I presume!) and she never saw it!

seriously though I dont think age comes into it - we are both so happy now having come through allsorts to get here - but we're here and together and yes its all wonderful!!

can I ask how old you are?

Do you worry that she will be too old for you one day.
Maybe I will be too old to notice if he thinks I am too old!!!! does that make sense?!!!!

DH is 5.5 years younger than me. We've been married for 11 years. It works for us!

and we've been together a while. DW mentions that from time to time - when you're X I'll be X+10 kind of thing.

but no - she'll never be too old.

how about you - if you don't mind me asking?
