Ask him if he would like a bit of cod fillet for tea...that should sort him out.

CybilLiberty Tue 29-Sep-09 17:24:20

Yes, he's chosen the most obvious day to double bluff you.

CNyle Tue 29-Sep-09 17:24:22

i shall
I shall ask him that very q.

CybilLiberty Tue 29-Sep-09 17:24:54

You should spend less time shopping and more time making yourself pretty for him

CNyle Tue 29-Sep-09 17:25:05

Does he often go away?

Are you seriously thinking he is going off with another woman?

CybilLiberty Tue 29-Sep-09 17:26:42

I love it when dh says he has to stay away

CNyle Tue 29-Sep-09 17:27:10

just put the phone down and thought if he were that woudl be good.
i ahd forgotten it was his bday
a nd said" why is you being away for the night a problem"

till a Little voice said "because its my birthday"

UnquietDad Tue 29-Sep-09 17:27:36

Is that Claire from Steps?

cocolepew Tue 29-Sep-09 17:27:38

A night in Slough with Claire is more exciting than a night with you? You need to up your game missy.

i do to
he used to eb away a lot - that was too much noveelty well worn off, NOW not enough at all. He even goes to the frozen north and back in a day.

BecauseImWorthIt Tue 29-Sep-09 17:28:04

Are you really worried, CNyle? Or just trying to distract us all?!

I wouldn't worry, unless it was a significant birthday, as DH doesn't really 'do' birthdays.

CNyle Tue 29-Sep-09 17:28:47

UQD i had a dream when i was pg that Claire was the girl.
when i criticise him now he says " ah well claire likes it"

MIL goes off around valentines "on a conference" every year

CybilLiberty Tue 29-Sep-09 17:29:01

That;s why he;s having an affair because you don;t know when his birthday is

cocolepew Tue 29-Sep-09 17:29:06

Claire could be a cover for H.

CNyle Tue 29-Sep-09 17:29:45

no i haev no doubt dh is not having an affair. The thought of two women to deal with makes him all faint.

BUT WOULD A STRAYER be away for his bday or not.

CNyle Tue 29-Sep-09 17:30:12

kerching to coco
and yes to cyb
i haev got presents though. oh yes.

CybilLiberty Tue 29-Sep-09 17:31:00

No a strayer would think too obvious.

BecauseImWorthIt Tue 29-Sep-09 17:31:05

Prob not - prob on his/her best behaviour.

CNyle Tue 29-Sep-09 17:31:13

i saw H in Joseph.
he is obsessed with that fringe

CNyle Tue 29-Sep-09 17:31:26

cyb thast what mate said

cocolepew Tue 29-Sep-09 17:33:30

A strayer would be away for part of his birthday. Staying at home for the evening, then feigning indignation at having to travel for work on his birthday ffs! Then shack up in a Premier Inn with Debbie from accounts.
