so as i said on the other thread, men like romantic gestures just as much as women do, so, in the interests of fairness and equality (!!)........

what romantic gestures do you make towards your dh/dp? how do you make them feel loved, valued, cherished.......????

I've just deleted what I did to make my DP feel cherieshed this afternoon cos it was too rude!

In general I :

  • tell him
  • cook him lovely meals, lay the table, light candles, and make it all lovely for him for when he gets in
  • send him emails and texts with little messages in the middle of the day
  • say 'corr, you're gorgeous' when we're about to go out or something
  • scratch his back when I'm still half asleep in the morning

i once got loads of paper and wrote soppy messages on each one, then sellotaped them all over the living room walls while he was out. then sat in silence when he came in....... he nearly cried, going round the room, collecting all his messages!!!!

tell him a million times a day i love him, appreciate him, adore him.

sex on demand.... almost!

smack his bum in public!

give him kisses and cuddles for no reasons

text him when he's at work all day to tell him i love him and what dd is up to

let him watch what he wants on telly 99% of the time

scrub his back and other 'hard to reach' places in the bath
wolf whistle at him when he gets undressed!! (he blushes when i do this which i find cute)
buy him small pressies when i go shopping
make him his packed lunch everyday

i actually started the other thread and i do soooo much....i used to be even worse...
i'd buy card and stuff for him when he got home..
besides all of the house stuff...
i serve his dinner....on the table...all he has to do is sit...and eat...
i am very supportive..he is a full time working man and an ambitious person trying to start a business.
i used to get in sexy lil gowns or naughty stuff, but he'd say stuff like why you even put that on it doesn't stay on very long...
i would buy him things i new he needed,,,,like a new watch..or something.
when would go out with girlfriends, i would call him probably toooo much...LOL
i always forgave him for being a man...
(even when he cheated 2x)
i quit buying cards. or doing the sexy stuff..because...well he never did it for me...sorry don't mean to hyjack....but i doooooo everything for this man of mine...heck if he needed i'd wipe his butt.. if he couldn't...
