Anyone with experience of partner taking anabolic steroids

My now ex partner was not on steroids when we met, he did not seem interested in the gym, i realised a huge change in him, when he started going to the gym about a year and a half into the relationship, and have found out that he had been taking anabolic steroids for last 3 months of our relationship, it fits in perfectly with his aggresion and personality change that i feel caused the seperation, i feel really hurt and cheated, wondered if anyone has had any experience of this.

I have worked in gyms and it is blatantly obvious which guys are on steroids. It does make them agressive and I would not want to be in a relationship with a guy who is on them.

Not particularly good for their health either.

Well if i'd of known he was going to do them, i would not of even concidered a relationship but he hid it very well, really dont understand the motivation, they make men look horrible in my opinion and completley change them.

not my partner but I know several men who took them. Obvious effects varied , but def a knife edge temperament

my now hubby was on them and it wasnt the best time ever he got told them or me as he had a temper already and this bloody fueled it big time and I wasnt having it at all.

It can make them very unpredictable thats for sure but they can be weaned of it too but some of them dont sadly and it can cause the tempers but also it can kill as well as it speeds up the heart and puts on muscle to fast for them and can cause health problems later on.

DollyPS just feel cheated as we were so happy untill he started taking them, i told him they had really changed him but he did'nt believe me, i could'nt go out with someone that unpredictable and the fact that they are soo dangerous for there health, but sadly he chose the steroids not me
