Grrrr. Nothing to eat for breakfast

My day off. Been at work ALL week.

I woke up by DD bouncing on my head. DH made me a coffee about hour ago, announced it was the last of the milk.

I just asked if he could put some toast on for me and I will get up, no bread.

So, no bread for toast, no milk for cereal. He knows I need to eat breakfast given that I am carrying his second bloody baby.

So, is he expecting me to get up and and dressed and go to the shops while he watches the cricket or whatever else he is doing on the front room?

I do not think so. If I leave this house it will be to the shops as far as he is concerned, but then I shall stop at the cafe next door and get a bacon sarnie.

I did not in fact get up. I told dh pretty much i was not budging until i had eaten.

He suggested going out for brekky, course he would. But we are going swimming after and i can't swim on a really full stomach, so told him i need to eat before we went out, and toast would be sufficient.

He has just gone to the shops Finally at 10:40am. I will be sending him back out for lunch at this rate

surely if your pregnant you could fancy something mad like mashed potato and curry noodles for brekkie

personally, I'm not pregnant and I often eat last nights chilli for brekkie, with cheese on YUMMMMOOOOOOO

Trinity - we are out of everything, it is shopping day today. I have wracked my brains for some weird and wonderful thing to cook up, but nothing. we have fish fingers and chips yesterday so no leftovers!

I have been known (none pregnant too) to eat leftover curry, or pasta, or chilli for breakfast. Some things takste better in the morning!

Mmm, curry for breakfast is great, as long as you're not getting up to go to work. After 10am it's great!

Aw. he has walked into the bedroom with a big pot of strawberry multigrain yoghurt, two spoons (one for me, one for DD), big smile on his face.

"don't say I never make you breakfast in bed'

And he is now making toast. Without a fuss.

And now, passed me another cup of coffee. And asked how many slices of toast would I like, would I like a crust?

What is he up to? I bet someone had just texted him asking if he wants to go watch cricket or something...

Oh such a suspicious mind. But whatever it is, I like it, especially as he seemed so 'sod you I am sitting on my butt all morning' not 1 hour ago!

2 slices of toast with apricot jam on. On thick white bread. YUM.

I know why he was so nice. He has bought himself some bacon, and sausages and is making himself a sarnie! Sneaky! I don;t mind as it means he is not in a rush to go swimming now and I can stay in bed and mn rest a little longer!

What, no bacon for you?

No 'because I did not ask for it' but then, to be honest, after the almost entire tub of yoghurt, could not eat such a large sarnie
