Help for DIL

Posted request for help in Chat but thought it worth a punt here as well. Complicated situation with DIL/DS and new grandchild - lots of stress and tension all round and they've upped and moved to Watford where she's feeling isolated and lonely (possible PND, I think). I'm 80 miles away and have been as supportive as can be but made much more difficult by the distance. Any suggestions for help/resources in Watford area? Things getting increasingly desperate. Thanks.

is it worth checking out mumsnet for any local groups?
her HV might also be able to point her in the right direction of meetups/activities in the local area
there's also the NCT
