Last week I showed my wedding photos to a woman I thought was my friend. She said they were 'lovely' and asked me where I'd got my wedding dress from and my son's suits etc.
Anyway a few days later I recognised her username on a website (she'd mentioned the site before, I'd had to odd look but never used it properly, this time I stumbled on her name by accident). Anyway the subject line was:
"Just been looking at someone's wedding photos and...."
So obviously I clicked on it, admittidly expecting that she'd written nice things about us and the message went like this: (copied and pasted)
"OMG. It was like an episode of shameless! pmsl. She'd got her wedding dress on credit from the catalogue and the kids suits looked about 3 sizes too big for them (probably so they can wear them again at her next wedding lol). The lot of them looked dog rough, tattoos showing, half of them looked pissed up, her hubby didn't even look as if he'd had a shave! I know I probably sound like a right snobby cow but honestly, can't these people even make an effort for one bloody day?"
I know its me she's on about. I started crying when I'd read it and have felt like crying ever since. I've never felt so hurt. I thought she was a friend.
Someone actually replied and put
"and this woman is your friend??"
and so she replied
"god no, she just takes her kids to the same school as we do".
I don't know whether to confront her, ignore her, reply to her post or what.
I've name changed because she knows my usual username (although as far as I know doesn't use this site).
Why are people so bloody horrible and nasty all the time? what's the point?
