How does your dh/dp show you his love?

Dh reckons he sufficiently shows his love for me by being a good provider, a stable husband, a caring father.

I want more - potentially gifts, deeds as in running a bath or giving a massage or even turning the bloody TV off so we can have a good chat, something.

Fed up I am AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH

What do you do for him to show him your love?

I won't post what my DH does for me cos I am a newly wed and therefore smug as hell and loved up [sorry]

Little thoughtfulnesses (new word?), just being kind and affectionate really....It sounds like you are a bit pissed off with him, but if you could put that aside and show him what you'd like by doing the same things for him that you'd like, maybe he will return the favour?

As well as being a good provider and loving father to our kids:

He gets excited about spending Friday evenings with me, a pizza delivery and some crap TV!

We call each other dumb names, not very romantic, fairly crude, but personal to us.

He sometimes takes me out for a nice meal or often takes me and the kids out for a nice meal

He takes the kids with him to do Tesco shopping at the weekend so I can have some peace

If he thinks I look 'poor' he says "special cuddles in bed tonight"

He puts up with all my deranged moods and hasn't left me yet!

I'm fairly happy with that.
