In my local library today there was a really excellent pack available with leaflets on

housing
benefits
legal advice
health
asian ladies refuge
children
counselling
etc

on display with adult education stuff etc.

I had a quick glance as am v nosey, but looked like an excellent resource (obv local info included). A5 folder so I would imagine fairly easily concealed if necessary.

Just thought I would mention it.

Is there any information about verbal abuse? I suffered that (as well as a bit of physical agression) but mainly verbal abuse. It's very hard to get a verbal abuser to admit/face that he has been abusive verbally. He will say something like "you've been getting ideas from magazines again" when confronted.

I read the threads on MN, and I think too many MNers are being abused verbally.

I did not notice tbh.
I understand there can be different types of abuse, but I think this pack was more

you are being abused - here is where the help is

rather than

is this abuse or not?

Sorry
