Their leaves are thick
Pass me a bowl
I'm gonna be sick

Did you know that you keep me awake at night?
Thinking of lying here holding you tight.
I imagine your body, and my lips exploring,
But knowing my luck you'd be too busy snoring.

This was suggested in You magazine as suitable for old marrieds to write in Valentine's cards (I do not get the Mail on Sunday - was reading it at M&D's - honest!)

The First Day
by Christina Georgina Rossetti
(1830-1894)

I wish I could remember the first day,
First hour, first moment of your meeting me;
If bright or dim the season, it might be
Summer or winter for aught I can say.
So unrecorded did it slip away,
So blind was I to see and to foresee,
So dull to mark the budding of my tree
That would not blossom yet for many a May.
If only I could recollect it! Such
A day of days! I let it come and go
As traceless as a thaw of bygone snow.
It seemed to mean so little, meant so much!
If only now I could recall that touch,
First touch of hand in hand! - Did one but know!

I love you
I love you
I love you almighty
I wish your pyjamas were next to my nightie
Don't get embarrased, don't get red
I meant on the clothes line, not on the bed.

Jack and Jill went up the hill

To fetch a pail of water

Jill forgot to take the pill

And now they have a daughter...

Ah that's nice Marthamoo.

Although I can remember meeting DH very clearly... His first words to me were, "Bloody hell, a belly button ring, how passe."

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Sugar is sweet,
And so are you.

And so are they
That send you this
And when we meet
We'll have a kiss

-The original poem

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
God made me pretty,
What the hell happened to you?

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I'm not arrogant,
I'm just better than you!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Garbage gets dumped,
And so do you.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Some poems rhyme
But this one doesn't

Roses are red,
Green is the grass,
Four words for you:
Kiss my ?

Roses are red,
Azaleas are pink,
Diamonds sparkle,
And Backstreet Boys stink

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
You smell like a monkey,
Go live in a zoo

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
When I look at you,
I need a brew.

Violets are blue,
Roses are red.
If your husband finds us,
We'll both be dead.

Roses are black,
Black as a stealth.
Quit looking at me,
And play with yourself.

Roses are red,
And aliens are cool.
But ya better watch out,
They're everywhere, fool

Roses are red,
Violets are black.
Why is your chest
As flat as your back?

Roses are red,
Violets are gold,
Why wear a bra,
When nothing to hold.

Just found this one it's quite sweet

I crave your honesty on this day of love,
L ove you whole-heartedly my sweet dove.
O ut of the blue you shot from the sky,
V ividly, beautifully stunning my eye.
E ver adoring you is what I do best,
Y our smile, your face and all the rest.
O n days like these I truly believe,
U and I are meant to be!
