Never spends any quality time with my 2 dds....she sees the little one every day, whos with me and she will chat chat chat to me and I have to interupt her to reply to dd2 as she talks right over the top of her(Bloody Rude) ...if dd2 says "ohhh look at this mum/nana..." I will be just turning my head to reply and my mum will launch into a converstion and I have to say "Hold on a sec..." , hoping next time she will notice...she doesnt.
Same with dd1.
She pisses me off as she babysits for a friend and says...in front of my kids, that she was playing chess with X and plating Ludo with Y....she doenst do that with my 2.
Grrrr...

oooooh agree agree agree! my ds and dd are growing up now but my mum still doesn't seem to think their opinions are valid..always shushing them and then launching into some interminable- and pointless- story about her neighbour's car alarm or someone she met on the bus. GRRRR indeed- my sympathies.
