No sex since April. It's over isn't it?

Before April it was about once a month, every 6 weeks.

Fucking hell, what is wrong with him.

In the past I have when it started to dwindle but I haven't said anything this time around.

In the past he's said tired etc but that's a pile of shit obviously.

What’s the rest of your relationship like? Lack of sex without understandable reason (small baby, illness etc) is usually a symptom of wider relationship problems.

@ComtesseDeSpair the answer to your question is making me realise that it is indeed over.

Do you want it to be over? Do you think he does? Or is it something you think you could both work through with time and communication and trying to address the problems?

I don't want it to be over, neither does he so he says. He doesn't even come to bed, says it's not on purpose he just falls asleep. What a waste of 8 years.

Hello, I was also in a sexless relationship for years, but the lack of sex wasn’t the only problem. Lack of communication, poor match of personality etc. Lots of unsaid things. You can have a good relationship without sex, I’m sure. But, The bottom line is, as long as you are not happy, the relationship isn’t okay. You need to really consider what you want to do - and either work on things, or leave. (No one will judge you for that) And any relationship is not a waste, it’s experience. Flowers

Why does no sex for a couple of months equal it being over ?

Think the communication is the problem not the sex

Depends. I haven't had much sex with DH in the last 3 years really.
Because I have out on weight and do not feel sexy at all
Because we have a 2yr old
Because I'm pregnant again

Like we haven't had sex in 3 months at the moment... I think it ebbs and flows in relationships. 🤷
My DH has definitely had periods of low libido and so have I. And it rarely works out at the same time.

Didn't pink! State her marriage was sexless for years...the comes back in peaks and troughs.

I don't think it necessarily means it's over but I think you need a chat with him if you are unhappy with the situation

I think we need a lot more context here OP. Do you have kids, a mortgage, are you married?
