PurpleRainStorm1987 · 10/06/2021 21:33

My husband used the babycam (video type) to spy on me getting dried and dressed in our bedroom after my shower. He doesnt know i had noticed the camera had turned from facing the baby cot to facing the bathroom door ready for me emerging.
Would u say this is ok? Am i being too sensitive?
P.S im 5 weeks post c section so i dont think im very conscious of my body at the moment. Sex is defo not on the cards though he tries it on regularly (very handsy without checking its ok)

This is not ok OP. You’re not obliged to be seen naked by anyone, not even your husband.

Stick a blob of blu tack over the lens. And say nothing for now.
But I would plan to end things.

If course it's not ok.

How do you know it was intentional, is there any way it could have been an accident?

What site has he uploaded the previous filming to? Because they do.

Why are you still with this sex pest who is looking at a prison sentence with his illegal filming antics.

Have you ever asked him about this? Would you feel safe to do so?

This. It’s also illegal.
I’d be having serious words with him and considering our future.
Sorry you’re going through this Flowers

Why are you with him?

There are Reddits and websites devoted to sharing these kinds of recordings. You can phone the police on the non emergency number to ask for advice.

Yes, i would have left after my first child was born but my parents convinced me to stay for the sake of my son. Then i was about to leave when i found out i was pregnant with my daughter. Now im well and truely stuck.

Hi has thousands of porn pics & videos, stored on pen drives & in a vault app on his ipad and phone. He has accounts with reddit etc & one called Chaterbate but swears he has never chatted to anyone he has watched, he just watches them. I dont like it at all but when i bring it up with him he gets all angry and defensive.

Fucking hell. He is a voyeur and yes, the likelihood of him sharing these videos with other seedy twats online is very high indeed.

What is a Voyeur? I have seen that word before when he has left the search history on the mac book we share. I know his favourite videos to watch are of girls peeing too which weirds me out. Its not even normal porn stuff. How do i find out if im on the internet?

You need to contact womens aid about this. Recording you in your home is illegal. If you leave him you will be entitled to benefits to support you and your children. There will be a way to leave and womens aid will help you come up with a plan. God only knows what he is doing with the recordings.

You have no privacy in your home where you should have a right to privacy.

You are not as trapped as you think you are. You are married to this man and this have rights in law so exercise those fully and seek legal advice. You should not stay with him because of or for the children, they are no reason to stay with him. Your parents too never acted in your best interests either when they advised you to stay with him, again because of the child.

He has and continues to violate you here, what he is doing here is illegal. This is all on him, you are not at fault here.

And as painful as it could be for you, you do need to involve the police here.
