Can you give me some perspective on how you might deal with something like this: Background: I'm 30 years old and only just addressing sex shame and mental health issues that have been caused by my childhood. Amongst being abusive and immensely critical my mum sex shamed women and said how dirty it was for them to enjoy sex and participate in it. I've got over my fear of touching a penis because my mum used to make disgusted remarks about them. I'm beginning to face my issues and that includes being very brave and allowing myself to be vulnerable and allowing people to see the side of me that I want hiding (I follow Brene Brown and she is amazing for this). Anyway... I am finished with the guy I last had sex with but when I have a new partner I don't really know what happens when it comes to 'hiding' the underwear that I would have been wearing all day... just discharge and possibly end of period. Do we expect men to be accepting of this in 2020? I kick it to the side usually but I do very much worry that a man will see it. I have adhd so I worry that if I hide them too much I'll forget them. Will they understand that women have these secretions? With my last partner he panicked when there was blood on the condom after we had sex and told me in a hurried voice that I should probably have a wash in my vagina seconds after we discovered it. (I've been to the GP because I wanted to see if we could tell what was going on). I want to pick a guy that is relatively in touch with a woman's body, but want to be realistic at the same time. It is a definite possibility that I should choose a man that is a bit more in touch with how females work. Thanks for listening
