Clues left by the OW

Mine was a pilates mat strap left in my husband's suitcase after he'd been away on 'business' (although the clue didn't actually work at the time because back then I naively thought that my husband - my supposed best friend - actually loved me!).
I assume now that these surprise clues are left in a bid to hasten the demise of the marriage?
I wonder if he raised the issue with her at the time and whether he had a go at her for being so manipulative scatty or whether they had a good laugh at my expense.
I must ask him sometime...

Was it you who posted the thread recently wondering what you had found in your husbands suitcase with a picture of it? and someone said it was a yoga strap mat?

If it was left by the OW intentionally then surely it would have been a lacy thong or bra in true cliche style. Little bizarre for someone to intentionally plant a yoga mat strap in the hopes it would lead you to assume an affair.
More than likely your husband grabbed it with other bits while packing his bag maybe.

I remember your thread. How did you finally find out?

Oh my goodness!!

My money was on him finding it in the bottom of the hotel wardrobe, having no idea what it was and grabbing it, assuming it was yours.

How did you find out, OP?

A woman answered my bf phone. Batchelor quarters. Abroad.
Bit of a clue.

My ex and OW (my then best friend) spent hours on the phone when I was at work. Both always denied it but out walking one day their new dog backed away from me (a stranger) and slobbered all over him .....

Not me but a friend found a her top amongst his clothes when sorting out his travel case after a 'business' trip.

She got rid of the boyfriend but kept the top... It was very nice and expensive

Earring under the car seat (classic!) is what a work colleague of mine did. I interpreted that as her trying to end his marriage, the wife worked it out but they’re still together as far as l am aware

Tagging him in a FB photo of them cosying up together in a pub and another one taken the same night in her house and commenting "Gud end of nite last nite (his name) xxx" when he was "away cycling with his mates". I assume he hadnt seen it until the following morning as he'd untagged himself by 11 am. After I'd already screen shotted it ...

The caption was her misspelling not mine, typing it made my teeth itch...

My exHB bcc'd an email to me. He signed off 'ciao you hot babe' after talking about their trip to San Francisco. To this day I don't know if he did it deliberately or if it was accidental. To his great surprised I binned him.

Mine was a Facebook friends request, from her.

I didn't recognise her or know who she was so declined the request and thought no more of it.

I had my suspicions at the time that he was up to something but it never occurred to me that It would be with somebody that looked older than his mother. I thought she was just another MLM pest (I get those alot)

It turned out that her sending me that request was designed to spook him as she issued an ultimatum "you tell her or i will"

Not so bizarre if she's his pilates teacher Shock

Where would he have grabbed it from? The hotel room? We don't own any pilates 'bits'.

Her (nasty sneeze inducing) perfume on the passenger side seat belt at neck height. And ginger hair on the seat.I may have proceeded to spray mine all over the belt and his jacket(and pants). Good enough for cats...

Of course it wouldn't be a thong if intentional. How could she then claim it was all innocent and she never meant to hurt his wife..

Sorry OP. What a vile pair.

She bought him gifts, some of which he passed off as stuff he'd got himself or someone else, some of which he hid in the shed. Didn't find the latter until he'd gone, though. One was a bottle of limoncello. I debated popping over in the night and pouring it over his front windshield, but in the end it went down the sink.

A birthday card sent to the house telling him how wonderful he was in her eyes etc and a cheap and nasty lipstick left in the car. Stunned when I saw a photo of her (after she Facebook stalked me and accidentally like one of my profile pics) shocking looking desperate woman.

I just find it a bit odd a woman would take a yoga mat to the hotel room she's going to for an affair that's all. Especially as the strap is used to carry the actual mat, would be next to impossible to leave with an unstrapped mat and not notice.

One of my own from my uni days. I saw an open condom packet on his bedroom floor - told me him and his mates had been messing about the night before and thrown it at one of them. I didn't question it because it did sound like something he would do being 'one of the lads' until I picked it up to bin it and saw it had lipstick marks on. Obviously been opened with her teeth Confused

He used to put the baby seat in the boot when he took her out, she put his 'surprise' presents in the boot with it (confirmed by her it was deliberate)! Along with a I love you fiancé card plus the paperwork of the house they'd viewed and put an offer on.

He bought a house with another woman while he was still with you?? Jesus, that's psychopath territory.
