Can you go out for breakfast on Christmas Day?

I am thinking of meeting some extended family (within the rule of 6) for breakfast on Christmas Day and then going back to my own house for lunch with my immediate family.

Is this a thing? Are pubs or restaurants open for breakfast? I’d be prepared to think outside the box. E.g I know a lot of Middle Eastern places are open on Edgeware Road for example but Im not up for going into Central London.

Pubs open from 10ish where I am... then food tends to be Christmas lunch, but from midday until 6pm-ish.

This year a lot of places don’t seem to be opening, so far, so I don’t know if anything will be around this year.

It probably depends heavily where you are though. There’s more open in London, and more diverse places tend to have things open in my experience.

Find a local open space with something like a pavilion or bandstand..
All turn up with hot choc in flasks, some fizz and a selection of yummy pastries ..
.... Breakfast picnic!

If its near enough, you can make hot bacon rolls ( or hot sausage and brie and cranberry rolls . Wrap in foil and take those also ..
All wrap up warm ( and pray for no rain .. )

You might be lucky and find a hotel willing to have non-residents for breakfast if they're not fully booked on Christmas Eve?

Possibly but most places would struggle to staff breakfast so unless it's a hotel with overnight guests I doubt that they will open, why not host in your house?
