How do you feel about going to a strip club with your husband?

How do you feel about your husband going to the strip club without you?

I've done it. I've been lap dancing. It does not bother me. He and I discussed it and we went once. Neither of us had been before and we have not been since.
If he was on a night out and went with other guys I don't think it would bother me as long as I knew, but i don't think I would be happy if he went alone which is most unlikely.

Never been. I wouldn’t be happy about DH going.
A friend took his wife years ago and paid for a private dance. I think she was curious and thought it would be a laugh. She dragged him out mid dance. It was much worse than she’d imagined.

Sorry LightDrizzle I am not stalking you !

I had the private dance. She was lovely. She made me sit on my hands :)
It was provocative and sexy and relatively harmless.

I went to One in my twenties, I didn't see the private dances. The public dances on the poles were quiet explicit.,best avoided if you ask me.

An ex and I went and saw some pole dancing and stuff. Some of the moves were quite clever. I'm bi but I don't think it lit my candle particularly.

Don't know if there were lap dances there or private dances.

I think I'd think a bloke was a bit too 'blokey' and a bit untrustworthy nowadays if I had a BF who went to a lap dancing club with mates. I have a different idea of what I want in a man now and it isn't that.

I wouldn't go with my husband and I wouldn't be happy if he went without me. I suppose it's just a boundary I have. It has never came up as a conversation in our relationship. He left a stag do once and came home before ten o'clock when the group was moving on to a strip club.

I've never asked him not to do it, he's just never done it. Which I am happy with. I appreciate that other couples might like doing this or be okay going to strip clubs by themselves or together. But it's not for us.

Oh sure id go with a partner .. if he went to a male one with me. (Not that they're easy to find, they're like hen's teeth).

Thing is, no men would go to a male one with you. (Or if they did I think you'd have good reason to winded if you had a bi or gay partner). Because only women's bodies are for everyone's gaze, and only women are made to feel they're liberated and cool if they go to strip clubs set up fir the opposite sex.

Women like Rihanna have to ape men in their "masculine" behaviour (cigars, kicking back in the strip club, having lap dances and putting notes on the garters ... Because it's "cool". When do ever see men doing women to be "cool", to the contrary they take the piss out if them and demean them. Mincing around in drag and speaking in a falsetto.

I am also not ok with my partner going into strip.clubs - he found out he wasn't either when I found one after he did it and had a few lap dances (as much as a man can give s woman a lap dance).from big well hung guys ... Funny that.

They don't like it much when the shoe's on the other foot.

I wouldn't be happy about it. A friend of mine got into it for extra money and the way she was treated by the boss was absolutely appalling. I think it's a very sexist environment and women are viewed as objects. Not my cup of tea.

For any guy who argues that they wouldn't mind if their partner went to see male strippers so they should be fine with them seeing female strippers...I don't think that a woman going to see male strippers is the same at all, it's normally a laugh and cringy for the women, they don't get turned on.

I would say the equivalent would be the woman getting to go and do a lap dance for a guy, grinding and so on...I would say that would give a similar sexual kick to a man going and getting a dance.

I'm single so don't have to deal with this dilemma lol but I do burlesque and exotic dancing classes (for fun) so i've got loooooads of lap dances from women lol

Wouldn't bother me in the slightest. If I didn't want him to see naked women, I'd have to ban him from the Internet, art galleries museums, biology books etc... My point being if he wanted to look at naked women, there's plenty of ways he could.

Are you a journo?

I would be up for it! I work in a Male dominated industry and have had a fair few lap dances, in my experience they have been more full on when doing female to female, I’ve had one where she literally put her breasts on my mouth, another one groped me, not sure why, with the guys there was no touching going on...
