I hope this is ok for me to make post on here. My son has produced a short interactive film focused on domestic violence in a young couple.
Filmed in Liverpool during lockdown this summer.
Lasts for 30-40 mins, he's had some great feedback so far, but wants to get the message and help out there to people who need it during this time.

I really wanted to watch it but...
I don't have earphones/headphones handy and it asked for my gender not my sex. I'd have coped with one, but I'm very short tempered today so two irritations was a deal breaker.

I know it sounds petty, but it's really annoying. I'll try again another day when I'm not in a foul mood.

@picklemewalnuts not a problem, earphones/headphones only necessary for privacy, and as for the gender/sex question... I really don't think too much thought went into it, was only for the purposes of collecting data on the male to female ratio of viewers.
Hope you have a better day tomorrow!

Thanks Too! I do want to- I'll try again later. Do ask him to think again about the sex/gender thing. It's pretty important in stats.

Really enjoyed it

However I couldn't select my home town, bristol, as it wasn't in the list.

Have you posted this before? If not, I've seen this already from an almost identical post somewhere else.

@ChangeThePassword a couple of weeks ago there was a thread (not mine) regarding if it was right to call police if you saw a domestic incident.
I commented to say that this film was about to be released, I think the trailer may have been live? But not made a post of my own on the topic

Thanks for watching, they put so much into this, due to lockdown restrictions the first project they did (a play about knife crime in teenagers) was postponed as schools and colleges closed.
Filming at home was a bit of an experience!! From markers on the floors, to letting the neighbours know they were filming and it wasn't real!
They hope to tackle issues in which people may find it difficult to get help, cyber bullying will be the next film.
Anti violence agencies and the police have been really supportive and are backing them greatly, thanks again for taking the time to watch, he's humbled by your comments, as am I. A proud mum x

I think it was my thread you posted the trailer on OP - I’m glad the film has been released.

Ah was it @Merryoldgoat!
It struck a chord as without giving too much away, there is a dilemma as such within the story.

I’ve just finished watching it! I found it very though provoking.

Please thank your son for his work.
