Coping with separation(1 Post)
My wife and I have been together for 17 years and then in May, out of the blue, she said she isn’t in love with me and has met someone else. I am 34 and my wife is 35. I’m completely devastated and everyday I feel this consumes my life. We have 2 young children who are living with her while I’ve moved out.
I know our relationship hasn’t been great over the last year due to difficulty balancing work/home life myself and my wife having a medical scare (which fortunately turned out ok). I love her so much and I feel she is my soul mate. I’m struggling to see a life without her but she is adamant there is nothing left in our relationship and wants to see where a relationship with him can go. I think what I’m after is maybe some positive stories of other people finding happiness and maybe love after a situation like this. I can’t currently think of loving someone else but everyone keeps telling me that if she felt compelled to do this to begin with, we are not meant for each other.
