(10 Posts)Your sibling had a seriously ill adult child. And you are having a tantrum about looking after their dog for them?! Eh?
Why should the neighbours have looked after the dog? It wasn’t their dog!
Did you post about this a couple of years ago? I have a vague memory of the barging in at Christmas bit
What has your siblings neighbour got to do with anything? I am very confused. They are not obliged to help out you or your sibling surely?
But that's down to your sibling, not the neighbour
Yes they should have looked after it And they were completely rude to
me as well No reason for that! They brokered the deal I did not and it
cost me
So your sibling bought a puppy from their neighbour. You then ended up looking after it but think the neighbour should have done? If that's right then I don't understand why you think that?
Hi OP I'm a bit confused by your post, whose dog are you dog sitting and who are the neighbours (yours or sibling, and what association do they have with the dog). Just a bit confused why neighbours are barging into your house or siblings.
Who is using you as a dog sitter? Your sibling or the neighbour? Why is the neighbour barging onto the house? Your sibling’s house?
I want to find out if I am being unreasonable or not.
My only sibling and I are quite close . They are a single parent in a hard job. I work part time .One child between us. We live separately.
At 18 while the child was hinting to go away to Uni and had had a very serious medical incident a puppy was bought from the new neighbours.
One day I found myself landed with this puppy (did not know about it) while my sibling rushed away miles away as the child became very ill. Previous medical examinations in London (top specialists) gave limited treatment and bad prognosis.
I found that I had to reduce my work days to be available for further
emergencies to help sibling keep their job and spirits.
Meanwhile the neighbours were awful to me.
They rarely walk their dogs who are overweight yet on the rare occasion I saw them they lectured me re dog care (I had a dog for 16 years)
The woman does not work and has a large family.
I had to have gruelling cancer treatment and one Boxing day was
celebrating the end with family. The woman barged in did not greet me and dismissed my illness " Oh I have been through all that"
It is clear that they regard me as an object to be used to service
the dog . It is unclear to me why the neighbours could not have looked
after the Dog?
