Quite convinced my relationship is over

Had a great night with DP tonight, he was thrilled that Liverpool won the league title. I genuinely love him and always have a great time and a good laugh with him. The problem is that when he was drunk he locked himself in the bathroom to pleasure himself without me and I was so frustrated that I was messaging another (regular) guy. I know this isn’t normal and I think I should end it, but I feel trapped. We have only just recently bought our house and I have no where else to go. Any suggestions would be massively appreciated. I’ve been feeling really down for months now, and don’t know what to do.

What do you mean by "a regular guy"? Are you regularly sleeping with another man?

If so, that's seriously not on...why have you bought a house with a man you're not even faithful to?

No. I haven’t slept with the other man. Just spoken to him for the last month or so (although known him for years) because my partner is not giving me what I need emotionally and physically, and I have brought it up with him but he doesn’t seem interested, but now I know he is locking himself in the bathroom and masturbating when I am upstairs!

So your dp isn’t having sex with you, prefers to go in the bathroom (I’m assuming with his phone), you’ve told him you need things he’s not giving but he doesn’t care? The result of the lack of attention is you chatting and probably flirting with another man.

You need a serious talk with dp, a calm one when he’s not drunk and if he won’t change you can either try therapy with him or leave the relationship.

Flirting with the other man isn’t going to help matters.

Confused So, he goes to the bathroom for a wank and you start messaging your bit on the side? Sounds like an after hours version of Eastenders.

So you don’t have sex at all with your DP?

Why did you buy a house with someone who doesn't fulfill your emotional and sexual needs? Surely that's the point of a relationship?
