No dramatic ending

I feel a bit lost. I'm so used to breakups being shouting matches but this one is different. We were together seven years and planned on a future together. Things got toxic with mild verbal abuse from both sides. We have just broke up and now we text, like we're just friends. I don't have the intense missing him feeling, I don't feel angry or like stalking his socials. I feel really calm. But I also feel lost because I am so used to a dramatic ending. Help?

Well isn't this a better way?
Sound like you two just drifted apart.

Well it sounds like you got to a point where you were no longer good for eachother. Its good that you both let go before it got worse. And that is very healthy. I would say you should minimise the contact so you don't fall back in, so to say. Its ok to stay friends with an ex, but less contact would be better for both of you to move on.
