Would you tell his girlfriend?

Wondering what you would do in this situation.... so basically I had a relationship with a bloke for about 2 years, which ended last year. Since then we chat occasionally on text or whatsapp, always his instigation. For the last week or so he has been in contact, saying he misses me, thinks about me and basically sexting. I responded but not sexually, just replied ancient history but he still continued.

I've since found out that he is seeing someone. Do I tell her what he has been up to, or do I kep quiet and let her find out for herself? I'm sure if he's been texting me there are others.

Personally I would tell him to back off because you're not interested and tell him if he continues you'll will contact her. Then block him.

I probably couldn’t resist texting back ‘Hi this is , fancy seeing you here’ and watch to see how quickly he blocks you in a panic.

🙂

Copy the messages and send them her anonymously and do her a favour. Also block him and do not respond at all.

I would appreciate someone telling me if I was the girlfriend. But dont do anything that might put you in danger

I would tell her. One of my friends was in a similar situation but she was the girlfriend. She only found out what a twat her ex was because the woman he was talking to messaged her. Now she’s free of him thank god

Would you be happy in showing her the evidence of the messages? otherwise he would probably say your a crazy ex that won'y leave him alone.

Also not not what you mean by seeing her, could be casual/dating relationship or are they def an item.

Tell her! Save her the heartache in the long term being with such a dick!

Tell her, but only if you have the evidence to back it up - and are willing to share it with her.

Otherwise it leaves plenty of kindling for him to say you're just jealous/crazy/obsessed.. whatever he needs to use to dig himself out of the hole.

I'd just block him personally.

Brazenhussy0 · 25/05/2020 23:34

Tell her, OP.
Either send her the evidence or ask her if she wants evidence. What she chooses to do is up to her, but at least she'd be informed.

Send her some screen shots of the messages so she knows what a dickhead he is and doesn’t have to waste her time on him.

Is want to know the truth I think.

What a scumbag Angry

Yes, with evidence.

Don't let him (or her) give you the slightest bit of shit though. Block him before you do it, block.hef if she gets the slightest bit blamey towards you.

I think I would tell her. This won't be a one-off, he's likely to carry on doing it (and perhaps more) at times throughout their relationship.

Keep out and block. She will find out soon enough. Not your party so you don't have to provide the beer.

Keep out and block. She will find out soon enough.

Women can not find out for years (or ever) that they're in a relationship with a cheat or wannabe cheat.

Report
LadyGAgain · 26/05/2020 00:46

That might be the case @NoMoreDickheads but given the OP history with this guy it's hardly going to be taken seriously even if she does spill.

I told the gf once thinking I was doing her a favour, all hell broke loose she turned up at my work and all sorts demanding proof as her perfect partner would never text another woman. Never again.

Report
PumpkinP · 26/05/2020 01:44

I wouldn’t , ime they still stay with the guy so I wouldn’t bother. Never again
