Really fed up with dp's attitude

I've been ill for the best part of 2 weeks now. Properly ill, in fact the worse I've ever felt.
I'm off work, plus I'm on antibiotics, inhalers, steroid tablets etc.

Anyway, dp is being such an arse about it. It's all my fault because I didn't take enough time off work last week. We've been at each others throats ever since and he quite clearly resents the fact that he has to take and pick up ds from the cm, he has to get him ready for bed, and that he actually has to do a bit of housework as well.

We are supposed to be going on holiday at the weekend, and aside from not feeling well enough, I just can't stand the thought of spending 2 weeks with dp.

I just would have expected a little bit of sympathy, even if the love and care are nowhere to be seen

panicpants. do you want to borrow mine for a few days?

I had a spinal op 2 weeks ago and he has been (and still is) a real star.

I cooked today despite being off work (well just threw a load of ingrediants into the slow cooker with a bottle of red wine) and dp moaned when I asked him to tidy the plates into the dishwasher.

seriously though - be good to yourself. Put yourself to bed with a hot toddy or something.

Yes please.

You can have mine, train him up, and send him back when he's passed.

Shame you can't have 'em put down like rabied dogs really.

Have you had the enrgy to have it out with him?
What is it with these blokes who think that sharing household and childcare duties is doing a woman a fucking favour??
I would go right off dh if he did this.

He's read over my shoulder that I'm bitching about him here, so is now creeping asking if I want anything.
