AIBU - Sent a personal pic

So, I've been dating a guy for 3 mths. We send personal pics to each other - no big deal. He requested one recently a bit more personal so I decided to send one today as he was stressed at work.
His response was along the lines of who's m*nge is that?
I replied 'just delete it' and then blocked him on WA.
He's now saying (via text msgs) I'm being unreasonable, he apologised for using the wrong terminology, said it took him by surprise (obviously not in a nice way). His last msg was 'I can't win'.
I was going to unblock him but he's just dug a bigger hole for himself.
Am I being unreasonable? He asked for the pic not so long ago. I even edited it with a X (kiss). I feel insulted that he didn't know it was mine! Shock. Lol.

I have no personal experience of sending those sorts of photos but your reaction seems quite extreme. I don’t understand what the problem is?

I think sending pics is fine if that’s your thing but a time and a place, you don’t just randomly send them surely? You need to both be in a flirty mood surely?

Also what’s wrong with minge? I’d take that over vagina any day of the week tbh, vagina is a bit well clinical for sex text imo

Maybe he hasn’t studied you enough to pick your bits out of a line up? Could you without doubt select his cock from a line of photos?

Yeuk!!!
And FFS stop sending pictures like that over the WWW!
People can access them.
They are out there, literally, forever!
If any man asks again and you don't want to then just say no.
It's all kinds of wrong.

You did well to block.
Keep him blocked.
And be more cautious in future.

He's sent me random pics. So not unusual. He even asked me to send one when he was at work not so long ago. Why would anyone send a personal pic of someone else's bits?

Why would anyone send a personal pic of their own bits, is what I wonder Confused

I don't get your problem? You are angry and blocked him because he didn't recognise your minge pic as being your actual minge?

He's always used the word 'pussy' which is nicer. I personally find the word m*nge offensive. The point is - he's upset me by using that word and for questioning who's it was.

In the early days of our relationship I text now dh when I was in the bath. He asked for a pic so I sent him one of the taps!!
Seriously dic pics and the like are so regrettable save them (if you must send them) until you know him well..

Does seem odd that he wouldn't just automatically assume it was your minge. But if you haven't sent minge pics before now he might have thought you're having a laugh and using one off the internet and wanted to check before he complimented you.

Do pics of your m*nge usually work as stress relief ??
It's like Romeo and Juliet Confused

I cannot imagine a life where it's not unusual to send a photo of your fanny to someone you've known 3 months.

And why anyone wants to see these pics? Genitals are ugly.

I am clearly of another time. So I've no idea if YABU or not.

Grim OP. Why send fanny photos? They’re hardly attractive (I feel the same about dick pics too). Plus, you can’t expect him to memorise it, maybe you got a different angle/lighting to normal Grin

Also, how do you even take them Blush just spread eagle and snap? Confused

Report
TheQueef · 30/05/2018 14:43

Stop sending photos of your fanny.

Avoids these moral mazes.

Something for show and tell during the lunch or coffee break I guess

I don’t think he could be expected to know you find the m word offensive. I think he is probably feeling really confused/is this drama all worth it?!

loveyoutothemoon · 30/05/2018 14:44

Lol, you think pussy is better than minge?!?! Confused

Report
SomeKnobend · 30/05/2018 14:44

I can see why that wasn't the response you were hoping for. He sounds like a total insensitive twat. I'd ditch him with no further thought or contact. he knows he's been a twat.

Is it the word “minge” you are objecting to?

To me, sending such pictures and using that word are on a par.

Report
AlmostAJillSandwich · 30/05/2018 14:46

It would have been reasonable for him to assume it was a picture of you, and you're naturally upset he wasn't immediately complimentary as its deflated your self esteem.
You did overreact a little by immediately blocking him, although this was probably becasue you were embarrassed.
He tried to apologise, you took it way too far so his "i can't win" is also not unreasonable.
