Qyickly. I am in a long distant relationship having never met my gf. We have beem dating and it is very serious for both of us for the last 8 months. We have know eachother over a year.
3 months ago she told me over video that she was driving 9 hours to visit an online friend she has never met but had known for a few months. I knew this guy from online as well but not as well as her. She told me she might not have data and that she would be back in a few days. I trust her 100% so she went and she did have data and we spoke a few times during her visit. When she got back i told her i guess he was a gentleman and was good to her. She said she had a great time. I told her did he atleast offer her the bed and he the couch. She told me bed was big enough for 2 and that they slept in the same bed. Am i thinking way to much about this? She told me nothing happened but sleeping but i feel it awkward she slept in another bed with another guy while in a relationship. Especially a guy she had just met even if friends for a while on line.

Is it a relationship if you have never met? Shouldnt she meet you first if you are in a relationship and shes not with the other? The mind boggles. My dear. This is not a relationship.

How far a drive would it be for her to visit you - or you her? More than 9 hours? I'm not sure how serious I could be about someone I had never met in person - there are things you just can't know, although you can guess and you can dream.

It’s not a relationship if you’ve never met.

Is this not an obvious question but why didn't you two meet up ?

I would be worried if I were you. How far apart are you guys ? She's putting effort to see a friend she's never met who's 9hours away? That's very alarming.

Have you & your gf discussed meeting anytime soon ??

OP you can't be in a relationship with someone you've never met. Without sounding mean, all the feelings are just fantasies. You've built a 'relationship' based on imagination.

Why didn't she drive to see you, for starters?

How do you "date" if you've never actually met in person? I think your first priority needs to be to actually meet her face to face, not worry about who she's seeing/what she's doing with other people. This is not a relationship OP.

You can't possibly be in a serious relationship when you've never been so much as in the same room as each other. When you meet people online, you only know them as well as they want you to know them. You don't know if you have any chemistry in person or find each other attractive in person.

From her point of view, sharing a bed with another man isn't a big deal if she's never even met you. You're not married. You're not even her boyfriend / girlfriend (not sure which you are, although I guess boyfriend). Is she overseas? I'm assuming so if she's willing to drive 9 hours to meet a friend but you've never met.

Online relationships are intense because they're not real. They're not weighed down by real life. I would walk away before you get really hurt.
