So numb, don't believe it. He was my rock.
I have support, but they are not here now, and I know they have lives and are dealing with their own grief. Just want to indulge in some self pity I think...

It’s not self pity. Post as much as you like - would you like to tell us a little about him? There is always someone here, night and day, to talk. Sending you a bloody big hug from Leeds xx

He was a big man, big heart, which let him down, funny, kind, generous, a pain in the arse and had been known to be a spoony fucker. We laughed a lot.
I have loads of really good support and know I am lucky, but they are not here now. I miss him and it's only a couple of days.

So deeply sorry for your loss from a fellow widow. WAY (widowed and young) is a wonderfully supportive online group if you need to talk people who understand. Take care x

Of course you miss him. It's natural. All of your grief is natural, and your grief is unique to you. You are the only person whose husband he was. It's terrible for you. I know people sometimes think they should be brave, but you need to mourn and cry too. Flowers
