He's had his heart broken by a girl and has lost interest in everything. He's not much of a talker so I've just got the bare minimum information. I never even met the girl in question -he met her on holiday and she lives a long way away. I'm worried about saying the wrong thing. Anyone else been through this who can suggest any comforting words which helped, other than the cliches of time is a healer etc ?
