My Girlfriend has misled me

So, I've recently found out my Girlfriend of 4 months has been lying and misleading me to believe that she is really happily involved, that she loves me and wants to start a future. After a few occasions were things didn't make sense, she has come out and said all along she just wanted something casual and I put pressure on her to feel more intense and all this time I had a relationship build on lies rather than honesty. I've ended things with her, was this the right thing to do?
