Blocked or deleted me?

Hopefully someone is more savvy than me.
I don't know if I have been blocked or deleted from a guy's phone or WhatsApp.
On WhatsApp I see no picture. I see status and I see last seen online. However, the last seen is February even though we messaged yesterday.
I have messaged and got 1 tick which I know points to blocking. It's the 3 month old last seen that I don't understand

Doesn't one tick just mean it's been sent; 2 ticks that it's been read?

One tick means the message has been delivered.

One tick means it's been sent to the servers, two ticks means it's been delivered to the contact. It's been read when they turn blue.

Whether that points to blocking or a problem with the WhatsApp servers, I don't know.

As I understand it 'last seen' does not update when you are blocked so if your message has one tick and he hasn't been seen online since Feb I would assume he blocked you in Feb.

One tick means delivered. Two is when its read.

The feb date is weird. Wonder if he is having issues with the app.

I saw he was online yesterday about 6pm and his last seen was updating during the day yesterday.
The last seen date now is probably the date I first saw him in WhatsApp.
It is why it's so long ago that's puzzling.
I know 1 tick is sent. It hasn't been delivered.

I definitely wasn't blocked in Feb as we messaged each other yesterday

He could have switched off his last seen status. It doesn't mean you are blocked. Not delivered could mean his phone isn't switched on. I think it's a bit early to tell

He's usually on his phone 24/7 so it is unusual. Plus his picture is no longer visible.
I have no idea what happens on WhatsApp if you are blocked and then deleted as a contact.

Just sounds like whatsapp is being dodgy quelle surprise otherwise it would show yesterday's date and not some random one from February.

I just can't.
It all points to being blocked (except I can see last seen even though it's wrong). I guess I'm just wondering if I've been deleted as a contact. It's knowing how final, final is, I suppose.

Ask someone else to put his number in their phone and look at his whatsapp picture. If they can see the picture and other details you will know whether it's a glitch.
