I love my music and have been listening to the Foo Fighters "Best of You" this morning. Cant decide if I think its a wallow/progress song!

I'll try anything at this point. Feeling stuck, and a little hopeless things will get any better.

Almost 2 years separated (Sep) and still feel stuck in 2015....Sad

Try by Pink really helped me. Pink in general helps me though! Love her.

Britney Spears - Stronger

The Corrs - Never really loved you anyway.

Kelly Clarkson - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

Shout out to my ex by Little Mix seems quite appropriate for me just now. STBXH left for OW and somehow the lyrics about being better off without him sums it up nicely.

It depends what you want OP. Do you want to wallow about love breaking down or play stuff that makes you think meh, f**k you , I need to go forward. Two very different animals.

I Changed The Locks by Lucinda Williams

I changed the lock on my front door so you can't see me anymore
And you can't come inside my house, and you can't lie down on my couch
I changed the lock on my front door

I changed the number on my phone so you can't call me up at home
And you can't say those things to me that make me fall down on my knees
I changed the number on my phone

I changed the kind of car I drive so you can't see me when I go by
And you can't chase me up the street, and you can't knock me off of my feet
I changed the kind of car I drive

I changed the kind of clothes I wear so you can't find me anywhere
And you can't spot me in a crowd, and you can't call my name out loud
I changed the kind of clothes I wear

I changed the tracks underneath the train so you can't find me again
And you can't trace my path, and you can't hear my laugh
I changed the tracks underneath the train

I changed the name of this town so you can't follow me down
And you can't touch me like before, and you can't make me want you more
I changed the name of this town

I changed the lock on my front door, I changed the number on my phone
I changed the kind of car I drive, I changed the kind of clothes I wear

I changed the tracks underneath the train, I changed the name of this town
I changed the name of this town
I changed the name of this town

Brilliant, shouty 'fuck you' song.

Reason by Hoobestank. I like to think he would have sung it about me after a hideous break up.
Think of me from Phantom of the Opera. It makes hope he can know look back on our time in fondness. I don't know why I want him too as he was horrible, but hey!

'Build up your confidence so you can be on top for once. Who cares little girl 'bout little boys who talk to much'

Even though this song is called, 'I'm the one who wants to be with you' the first sentence of the lyric is very powerful for me.

Shine bright like a diamond - that song. Female vocalist. Really boosted my confidence when I was long term unemployed. OK, nothing to do with relationships but still a good mood booster.

The Katy Perry & Pink songs mentioned are good as well.
