i don't really know if I'm posting this in the right place, i just feel like i need some girly support. I've been through quite a tough time recently and its left me feeling really alone. i feel like i have lost any confidence I've ever had, which to be honest wasn't a lot to start with.
I've been looking for work and started one job but i quite because i felt like i just wasn't good enough.
I know the subject of depression will come up but I don't feel depressed as such, more lonely. I don't have ant family that are close by or that seem to care that much. I don't have any friends where i live.
Im coming across like I'm feeling sorry for myself I know but i feel so alone . My children are in there teens so theres no parent groups to go to where i can make friends and i'm a single parent.
think i need a massive kick up the back side lol.

You were obviously good enough for the job otherwise they wouldn't have employed you on the first place. Do you need to work for financial reasons? Is there a line of work that you are particularly interested in? Another option would be volunteering a few hours a week, aside from getting you out of the house and interacting with other people, you will feel like you are doing something good and may also even meet friends along the way.

Would evening classes in something you are interested in be an option? Maybe art or cookery classes or other crafts?

Hi OP, are you recently single or have you been a single mum for a while?

I'm so sorry you feel alone, its a horrible place to be. Like Pumpkin said, are there any evening classes you could try as that is a great way to meet new people. Book clubs etc?

What about online dating? not sure if you're looking for anyone or if its more friends you need.

You really have to get out there. Friends won't just land on your doorstep. Its easier said than done if you lack confidence. What about getting some counselling to help with that side of things.

Sending you flowers and you can always come on here for support!
