Have you tried play and stay groups?

debbs77 · 24/03/2017 11:52

Yes a few. I have friends just they're all married

Tenshidarkangel · 24/03/2017 12:36

I fail the vetting due to lack of children and I hate coffee....
I can be a bit of a twat too. XD

Wishiwasmoiradingle2017 · 24/03/2017 12:37

I'll apply

Single
3 DC 9, 7 and 5
Love coffee - milk no sugar please unless it's a bad day then I'll have one.

Toddlerteaplease · 24/03/2017 12:59

I'll apply. But no children. Happy to talk about yours though. I live in cafe Nero.

BabiaMajora · 24/03/2017 13:02

Signing up unless 2.10yo DC2 is a deal breaker.

debbs77 · 24/03/2017 13:02

Yay!!! Besties!!!!!

OP posts:
pinkpixie83 · 24/03/2017 13:12

So why the need for besties? Not that anyone can ever have too many friends.

LauraMipsum · 24/03/2017 13:18

My daughter's too young but if the guidelines are elastic I fit your criteria with a 2.5yo and I'll be your friend (said in a non-weird way honest)

Have you tried Mush? One of my friends is working for them so I signed up and it's much better than I thought it would be. You stick in your name and location and it tells you who is nearby with a match. It's like Tinder but for friendship for mums.

debbs77 · 24/03/2017 13:39

I'm a single mum of six and I work from home. During my child free times I have to work, and during my days with the youngest two, the days are very long! But everyone I know is married, or work, and basically it's lonely !!!

OP posts:
debbs77 · 24/03/2017 13:40

In fact, I haven't spoken to another adult since Sunday! Apart from the women that work at the nursery my younger two go to

glitterglitters · 24/03/2017 13:43

As PP said mush is brilliant. I've made a couple of new mummy friends using it and have had coffee and play dates with and without the kids.

debbs77 · 24/03/2017 13:44

That sounds excellent, will take a look! Thank you x

Goldfishjane · 24/03/2017 13:49

I need a new bestie as mines too busy with her fab career
I don't have kids though so can't apply.

debbs77 · 24/03/2017 13:53

Well that's a bit pants!

Okay so I will revise the kids part then! Mwah!

OP posts:
fedupandnogin · 24/03/2017 14:06

I'd like one too. Teenage kids who don't want/need me anymore. Divorced and current love life a bit sporadic. Most other people in my circle are married.

NotJanine · 24/03/2017 14:14

fedup I'm in the same boat. Kids too old for me to be making friends through their school or activities. I don't have many friends and they're all married.

Wishiwasmoiradingle2017 · 24/03/2017 14:17

I have 6dc full time too! (others over 16!!) . Not many of us extra busy dms around!!

pinkpixie83 · 24/03/2017 16:06

Hats off to you I struggle as a single mum of three

dyinginside · 24/03/2017 17:28
