Out of interest, when is the right time to meet dc?

This is more of an 'out of interest' post. I'm 4 months into a new relationship which is going really well. I was previously in a LTR that ended after 7 years. It was an awful relationship but that's another story. At the moment I see my OH maybe once or twice each week. Half the week he has his dc so that's when I do my own thing. It suits us both really well at the moment. I just wondered what would be considered a 'usual' time limit to meet dc? I am in no rush about it at all and tbh he has a lot going on with their DM that I'm staying well out of. We have spoken about meeting each other's families but tbh are both enjoying things as they are right now. We have met each other's friends. I have never had a DP with children before so it's all new to me

I met DPs kids after 3 months when we thought it was going to be a LTR. DPs ex was happy with me meeting them and I met her at the same time as the DC.

I don't feel ready yet at all, and that's not because I have any doubts about the relationship, we are just having a nice time as we are and both consciously not rushing things. He feels the same so that's great but other people keep asking about it, like it's 'time' Confused

The right time is when you both decide and not when other people think you should! You take your time, it seems very wise to me especially if there are complications with the DC's DM.
