Me and a girl seemed to really hit it off and she told me to add her and after a flirty conversation she just stooped replying?

What's going on?

What sort of time period are we talking here? An hour? A day? A week?

Presumably she's quite young and so may well have no fixed intentions of a serious relationship until she is older.

There's really no use in trying to work out why it didn't click for her. Just accept that it didn't and move on.

Iflyaway · 27/02/2017 21:25

I agree with Winnie.

Just move on.

If you are talking about a girl, I guess you are pretty young in the grand scheme of things.

Just put it down to experience, and don't dwell on it. It's not worth the bother!

When you say flirty, do you mean cock pics and explicit suggestions?

I don't know why men think this works. It doesn't.

(I'm assuming you're a man here)

Perhaps girl was the wrong word. Female, Lady, woman, What ever, we're both in last year of High school/ 6th form and are 18.

The time frame goes: I added her, later that day she adds me, then I send her "hay, nice meeting you the other day how are you", She replayed "Hay, I hoped it was you. (then short explanation about her day)" about an 1/2 hour later I reply with a follow up question and then nothing for about 2 days. I don't know if she's ignoring me? Playing games? or just doesn't have the time/has missed the text?

Was your follow up question 'nudes?'

If she likes you she will be in touch

I knew from the title someone would pounce on the OP for using the word "girl". But first reply, that's a record.

Until the words girlfriend and boyfriend are eliminated from the lexicon, it's rather pathetic to pounce on people for simple abbreviation.

The OP sounds very much like a poster that posts on a forum I go on sometimes who has been banned a few times.

I think you're reading way too much into it op. Just get over it and move on

Aw, give the guy a break! If he's eighteen, surely it's OK to use the word 'girl'? I know fifty somethings who describe themselves as girls! Leave it, don't reply and maybe she'll be in touch with you in a couple of days. If not, let it go.

Spelling jibes are unnecessary and mean. My lovely DP has dyslexia and makes homophone spelling errors. He can't help it.

OP you sound a little too keen, just go on with your normal routine and chat to lots of people (men and women).

To say some people on here give advice on abusive relationships yet they are bullies themselves. It's spelling end of the day, just leave her be find someone new

I'm 19 and would refer to myself as a girl, give the boy a break!
Has she only not replied to one message? Did the message show as delivered or read? You say you added her on what?
One un replied message, I'd give her the benefit of doubt and text her again. If she doesn't reply then you've got your answer. Do you go to the same sixth form?

OP. This happens to me all the time, the guys asks a question and I'm about to go into class/dinner/activity and cant reply right away and then the message goes out of my head.

Follow up one more time if still limited reply she's not interested. But give her a break she's living her life you are not the centre of it.
