I have found a receipt from Tesco's for two bunches of daffodils. Dp claims he was indeed in Tesco's on the date shown but was buying WD40 and "must have picked up someone else's receipt"

? or ?

Daffs are hardly romantic lol!

funnypeculiar · 28/02/2007 21:01

well, two bunches of daffs wouldn't be a hugely romatic gesture, so I'd be fairly blase, I think

They hand you the receipt at the end so he wouldn't have picked someone else's up unless he wanted to.

WD40?

He's playing away with an android.

And he owes you two bunches of daffodils.

I would believe him, it is easily done picking up someone elses receipt on the self service bit & yes they do sell WD40 in tesco's so i would give that a ooooh 1 out of 10

Miaou · 28/02/2007 21:07

rofl at lube - oh vom!!!

Nah, I believe him - but I'm a very trusting kinda soul ...

You can pick up someone else's receipt if someone before you has left their receipt on the counter or in the packing area. Do Tesco's actually sell WD40? I guess they must. Is he the flower buying type? Not sure. Maybe a 4, if 1 is not suspicious and 10 is pinnochio extremes.

pmsl at buying himself daffs for self romance or the bike.

go through his pockets and phone for incriminating evidence involving pictures of himself, the bike and pot of Swarfega.

Ah the self service bit is different, fair enough. I wouldn't be that worried about that then.

Dp is PHSL about this - he is so impressed you all trust him implicitly

I am sooooo not suspicious, although I sort of feel like I ought to be

I mean a receipt for flowers is surely up there with top incriminating things to find?
