Can any psychotherapists or counsellors out there tell me if they have ever treated an adult who has had an ambivalent attachment with their mother? Highly suspect this was the case for me and I think I have already passed on this pattern to DC. Is this very complicated to unpick and is it conceivable that I can change this pattern with my own small DC (age 5)? Would just like a few pointers before I spend a fortune on therapy (which incidentally I think is necessary anyway).
