Hello, I've never posted on here before but I just needed to get it off my chest.
My partner goes through stages where he is really good and stops drinking for a fair few weeks, and then when he falls off the wagon, he just isn't the same and I hate coming home to him being drunk. He isn't violent or physical, but it's just so upsetting. He knows he is an alcoholic, but obviously doesn't get the right help to stop. He always tries to be smart with me when I've asked him if he has had a drink and driven and he'll say no, and then some kind of smart remark back. We have had our fair share of issues, but he can't always use that as the reason for drinking, I don't hold a gun to his head and tell him to drink. I just don't know what to do, it's making me more upset every time it happens now :(
