My dp of 9 yrs has bought me a lovely Christmas present! 2 tickets to see my idol Adam Ant in concert in the summer! I've never had the chance or finances to see him before so this is fab for me!
Just one downer is dp has no intention of coming with me! He's bought the 2 tickets but I now have to ask around my group of friends to see who wants to come!
So I feel a bit in 2 minds about it now.it is a fantastic gift BUT I feel meh for having to find someone to go with me.I know my sisters dp did a similar thing for her few yrs ago with her fave group but actually went with her even though he doesn't particularly rate them himself.so why can't my dp do the same!

Go with a friend. Don't force you're DP to go to something he has no interest in.

Enjoy the gig

If he's not a fan, then it makes more sense to take a friend who is and you'll enjoy it more.

Thanks everyone! Yea you're right I will prob enjoy it more with a friend.
I have same dilemma the other way around too as I wanna get him tickets to see his fave footie team for his bday in couple of months.I know he would like our 8yr old dd to come with us but she isn't keen as she doesn't like footie!
As it's in school hols she has the option of staying with her adult sister.I don't know how dp will react though if she doesn't come.
