Hello, I wonder if anyone can advise me of what to do?

I had a very rocky marriage, and went to a fair amount of relationship counselling with my husband. Now I'm divorcing him, and the notes from the counselling sessions woful be massively useful to help my case.

Having phoned the organisation, they say that if its for a divorce, they will only release things that I said, and nothing to do with what he said, due to confidentiality. My heart sinks, as there is potentially loads of evidence there about gas-lighting , emotional abuse and using the children against me, but it sounds like I won't get any of the useful stuff if I own up to the fact I want the notes because of the divorce. Any suggestions on what I could say I need the notes for?
