My boyfriends best mate always in the way...

My fella has a best mate that's a girl, now she isn't just any ordinary girl. She's the most neediest b** I've ever known in my life.

Basically; my issue is...

She always face times him when we're together. And talks about drama going on in her life. Currently her Nana is very ill and has been told she's got weeks to live, so I can kind of understand she's gonna 'need' her friends...

But...This stems back to the start of our relationship. It's not all the time, but it's most of time.

Me and him will be chilling out watching a film or TV and she will FaceTime and he will answer.

I've told him numerous times that I'm sick of her face timing when we're together (considering we only see each other twice a week normally)

He just doesn't get it.

He says it's only like me texting my mates when we're together but I hardy use my phone when I'm with him, because it's time with him I don't wanna waste talking to my mates, I've got all the time I'm not with him to speak to them! And I don't subject him to listen to the conversation we have. When she facetimes it's always about unimportant S***..and quite frankly...I've had enough

Anyway, I really don't know how to approach this subject anymore...

Any advice on what I should say or do?

Cos I'm running out of ideas!!

Thanks ladies xx

You've asked him not to do it several times. It is a reasonable request with only seeing each other two nights a week. He still does it. He values her more than you.

Are you looking for magic words to make him care more about how you feel than about how she feels?

He's showing you what's most important to him. It isn't time with you. Words can't change that.

Completely agree with Rabbit i'my afraid.

Also agree with rabbit. Sorry but I don't think he's that into you. Her nam being ill should be an exception not the norm.

Exactly what rabbit said.

Yep, rabbit has nailed it...

He sounds like you're not at all important to him. I'd bin someone off if they were that disrespectful

You can swear here.

Sounds like he prioritises her over you. There are 3 of you in this relationship, and he's quite happy about that.

Doesn't sound like he's the one for you.
