DP almost never puts anything away.... have to remind him most weekend lunchtimes to clear his breakfast dishes off table, we regularly have hammers, drills etc left lying around after DIY jobs. He left 3 bottles of chemicals for the central heating system on the stairs (we have open stairs without risers, so they would have needed only a gentle knock to spill all over the carpet below). He returned from a trip abroad and tipped about 20 biscuits onto the dining table.... you get the picture hopefully.
Today, he wrapped a present on the floor and left wrapping paper, tape and scissors on the floor.
He went ballistic when I asked him to put the scissors away. He chucked everything across the room. Apparently, everything I say is along the lines of "do this, do that".....
Am I being a petty nag ..... or should I be firm in insisting he tidies up after himself? I am not house proud ....
