introduction agency vs online dating

Having dipped more than my toe into OLD and have come out feeling hurt, used and with my self esteem knocked sideways, I'm seriously beginning to think about using an introduction agency. One I have looked at would cost an initial £595 then £30 a month thereafter, even though it's a lot of money, I'm seriously tempted as OLD more than ever before seems to just be full of guys after a quick fix. Where as I'm after a deeper connection with someone for true companionship. Anyone have any experience of agencies or could offer recommendations/advice?

Bloody hell, no experience OP but I'm thinking about setting up one of my own if that's the prices they charge!

Think I might join you, pocket. Think OLD's bubble is about to burst and agencies seem to be the way to go. This is one of the cheaper ones! They are normally around the £1k mark. It's crazy.
