Just had shock pg news. He is here, and totally on board. He is more affectionate, if anything.
I was pretty bewildered at first, but know he'll be an amazing Dad. We have 5 between us. Both of us are resident parents.
We have logistical issues to resolve, but he is 100% on board. They aren't all tossers!

Curious this isn't AIBU. Why so rude?

Good for you OP. It can be disheartening to see all the threads about the bad ones so it's good to see a nice one for a change.

Good news OP!
But I don't really see that a man should be called 'amazing' just for not being a total arsehole when he finds out there exists a baby which he had 50% role in creating.

Thanks, to the nice posters.

Sometimes it's very difficult to know what to think. Unexpected situations create unexpected reactions.
We all have a backstory, and mine involves an adoring husband and father, who suddenly ghosted us. The fallout was unimaginable, unless you've been there. I would out myself by saying much more, but there were additional circumstances which made me lose faith in the opposite sex.
Unsurprisingly, I was totally shell shocked after I had POAS. I was in two minds about telling him, or even accepting it myself.

I'm certainly not one who regularly appears here to gloat. I have had no reason to.

Congratulations OP, he sounds like a keeper. It's nice to read about a decent man on here, far too many of the other sort.

I have 6 and all but 1 was a surprise.
I have an amazing hubby as well even if he thought I was having an affair when we found out about our youngest but only because he had chemo and was told no more kids. ......
