I have access to my dh email and him to mine purely by accident. Happened to look in his spam tonight to discover lots of messages regarding of the sexual nature, on even for a casual dating site. I tried to change the password on this but although the it had come to his email address it said. His email was not registered. I know this is relevant but can't work out what it is. He is working tonight so I can't challenge him . Any thoughts

Oh dear. If I've understood this right you've clicked on a link in some spam and confirmed it's a real email address.

Have you got reason to think he's up to no good? Normally, if you've signed up for something it doesn't go to spam box.

If it's in the spam box then you've probably nothing to worry about. You should see the stuff in mine Confused

Don't worry - horrific stuff goes into my spam. Your computer works out it's crap and saves time by sending it to spam.

I get lots of stuff about penis enlargement and sexy Asian teens. I have never owned a penis or had any desire to consort with sexy Asian teens. I also get lots of emails telling me I missed my motivational appointment in Los Angeles.
Honestly, don't worry. If it's in the spam folder it's rarely legit and if he were clicking on the emails it probably wouldn't keep going into spam. Although you may have changed that for him now!

His email is fairly general. Doesn't give too much indication of gender.
He has been spending a lot of time at work recently and challenged me on something that's what made me think there was something. Is there something going on

I have about 620 emails in my spam box from this weekend. Most are asking if I want to meet sexy singles/have my penis enlarged/marry a Russian bride/impress my friends with a Russian pride AND a penis enlargement/get a boob job for free in exchange for some sexy photos...

I have a very female name. And no penis. And I definitely don't belong to any websites about singles/penis enlargements/penises in general/brides/boob jobs.

Nothing to worry about from his spam folder. What did he challenge you on? That could be more concerning.

Spam is garbage email automatically sent out by internet bots. It means nothing. He may once have clicked on a site - maybe accidentally, maybe not - and is now being inundated by these automated texts. Do NOT click on any links - you'll only get more garbage and possible a virus too.

This is not evidence of any potential wrongdoing on his part.

It's in spam for a reason.

Because it's spam

I get dozens of emails for "sexy Russian singles" and generic viagra. Don't worry too much,

I get the occasional bursts of these, I assure you that I'm not on any internet dating sites, don't go to porn sites (computers get social diseases from those too!) and have no need of viagra.

Perhaps try talking?

I get these spam messages too. Mine seems to think that I am a man (I am not last time I checked).

I also get loads of these! Lots of penis enlargement ones and asian babes etc. I'm also a woman so it would have to be one hell of a penis enlargement Grin

After I asked him regarding these emails in his spam box they appear to have stopped, particularly the ones of a sexual nature. I'm curiously to know why that is
Anybody any idea ?

I had to close down my email and start another one because of the amount of dodgy spam I would get. it was anything from offering threesomes, porn, and also weird stuff like confirming my job interview (I haven't applied for jobs for years). I think spam can be totally random and just annoying, rather than anything to worry about.

of course you will question it, but just remember that it could be totally and completely innocent.

Eh, seems to me you are making too big of a deal out of nothing important.

You are conflating a few things and coming up with an incorrect analysis.

Maybe he's started deleting the spam? Spam just comes and goes.

You don't say what sort of spam it is. If it is, as outlined above, "hot babes for you" then it really is just general. I get it too and my email address is clearly female!
But if it's to dating sites then it's possible he has been on one at some time. I used to be, so got lots and lots of others contacting me. Even years later I still do. Loads are affiliated to each other so they share info and you do get spam from ones you've not ever signed up to.

But I don't think either of these, or him asking you about the flirting (though that on its own could be another issue) show that he is up to anything.

I get hundreds of these too. They stay in there for X amount of days then auto delete. It is possible to empty the entire spam box in one go. I try and remember to do that every so often.

You sound very untrusting.

Its random and annoying if you delete it, but clicking on it to investigate what it is and where it comes from is like licking refuse in the street to see what it tastes like. Spam makes computer consultants a lot of money exorcising the subsequently digital demon possessed PC... assuming they even can.

I get loads of these, sexy Russians, dating sites etc. I'd be incredibly pissed off if someone used my phone and opened one of these. God knows what you've linked to.
