Help me not spiral into a weekend nark

just noticed recently a lot of criticism from DH. Its low level during the week but seems to ramp up at weekend. I find it difficult to point it out to him. he denies it all. The weekends then turn into narksville from me. I hate the weekend. lIts friday and my narkometer is going up. How do I bounce the crits off my back without aggression. How do I approach it without a fight eripting and me crying and feeling shut down.
I know the behaviour isn't all down to me its just like talking to a fucking wall. We sit around cos everyone is fagged out from their busy weeks. I get cabin fever. There is stropping about....the weekends just feel shit really

You need to change how you react to the criticisms. Maybe do some reading about Transactional Analysis and communication skills. Lots of stuff on the Internet.

I know that this is a lot easier said than done but try to stay calm rather than immediately leap into anger and defensiveness.

So, first criticism of the day: "so you think I .......? What would you prefer me to do? I see, I will think about whether I am willing to do that."

Second criticism: " so you think I .... as well as (first thing you were criticised for)?"

Third criticism: "Let me get this straight. You think I do ..... wrong and .......wrong and also ......wrong?" Etc etc, all day if need be.

Or just LTB?
