Am I a victim of emotional Abuse?

Just wanted some opinions/ advice on whether my relationship sounds in any way normal... my partner tells me that I am naive to think that other couples don't have exactly the same kind of rows as us, but I think I know deep down that I'm with a very unreasonable and possibly abusive man. I just don't know what to do about it.

I'm afraid to tell him when he has done something to upset me for fear of his reaction. Admissions of unhappiness with his behaviour frequently lead to him screaming at me very suddenly and accusations that I am being too sensetive which admitidely result in quite intense emotional responses from myself. For example bursting in to tears which often earn no emotional response from him whatsoever.

He points out my emotional flaws with words such as "psycho", "victim complex" and being "too in my own head" when I point out that he has done something to upset me.

Comparing us to other couples by stating that other girlfriends would be much more affectionate. On one occasion stating he may as well talk to other girls becuase they'd be much kinder.

Mildly aggresive. I don't think he has ever intentionally tried to physically harm me but on one occasion he slammed a door in to me when I refused to leave the room during an argument. He also threw a bag at me when drunk and screamed at me when his posessions fell out and broke, saying it was my fault.

Thanks for listening to my rant. harsh opinions particularly welcomed.

Yes. He is most definitely emotionally and physically abusive. No doubt.
