Do you ever feel bad rejecting someone

Has recently and unexpectedly happened to me. Strikes me it must be hard to approach someone when you dont know what they think or even if they are available. Sometimes I am glad to be a woman

yes, but naive to think it's only men who approach and get rejected, I've been there on both sides.

in this sense I'm not glad to be a woman as it feels worse somehow being rejected as one. I suppose women aer more sensitive and the main difference also is, women approach more often when there is some emotional involvement already - whereas men often approach just cause they fancy someone and it's easier to hear a 'no' then.
